Your mission
- Ensure compliance with RTCA DO-178C guidelines throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and review software quality plans, verification test plans, and traceability matrices.
- Perform software audits and process assessments to ensure adherence to certification requirements.
- Define and execute verification and validation (V&V) activities at various software assurance levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve software quality issues and improve processes.
- Support in managing problem reports and corrective actions to address anomalies and defects.
- Support FAA, EASA, ANAC, JCAB and other certification authorities by providing documentation and technical justifications.
- Support in improving our process landscape to ensure development of certifiable and high quality software.
- Ensure proper configuration management of software artifacts, including architecture, source code, test cases, and documentation.
- Provide training and guidance on DO-178C compliance and best practices to engineering teams.
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- You bring 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on DO-178C compliance.
- You understand software development for safety-critical systems and have experience with verification tools (SIL/HIL).
- You’re proficient in programming (C, C++, Python) and scripting for test automation.
- You have strong knowledge of software configuration management tools (Git, SVN, ClearCase, or similar). Experience with requirement management tools (Visure, DOORS, Jama, or equivalent) is a plus.
- You excel in documentation and generating high-quality certification artifacts.
- Certification as an Internal Quality Auditor for AS9100 or ISO 9001 is a plus.
