Your mission
This position is office-based in Weiterstadt.
- Conduct thorough inspections of:
- Parts from suppliers (Incoming Inspection).
- Parts manufactured by the composite team.
- Assembled parts by the production team.
- Reworked parts.
- Final products.
- Collaborate with the Engineering department to perform First Article Inspections (FAI) to approve parts before the Start of Production (SOP).
- Regularly update the inspection checklist (PQCs) based on Lessons Learned in coordination with the Industrialization department.
- Revise the Quality Standard Book to reflect Non-Conformities identified during the manufacturing process.
- Perform in-depth quality analysis on Non-Conforming parts, both internal and from suppliers, utilizing 8D Reports for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Provide comprehensive statistics, aggregate data, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regularly using Excel.
- Prepare and present slide presentations with quality results and analysis to the board, managers, and shop floor teams using PowerPoint.
- Maintain an up-to-date Instruments Calibration list to ensure precision and compliance.
- Regularly update the Supplier Approved List to reflect current status.
- Ensure the Quality folder remains organized for quick and efficient file retrieval.
- Adhere to and maintain the 5S principles to ensure a clean and organized Quality area.
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field or a similar education.
- You are a technician with 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, including standards, methodology, and terminology.
- You have strong attention to detail and keen observation skills.
- You are proficient in using measurement instruments and knowledgeable in metrology.
- You have the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- You are skilled in MS Office tools (Teams, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- You have expertise in Excel functions and VBA macros, with daily use of pivot tables and external data connections.
- You are fluent in both written and spoken English and German.
- You have profound knowledge in ISO 9001 and EN 9100 quality standards.
- You are familiar with audit processes.
- And experience in aviation is a plus.
